We stay at Le Meridian Nirwana Golf & Spa Resort set on the southwest coast a very safe distance from all of Bali's tourist 'hotspots'. This beautiful resort is surrounded by acres of lush gardens, lots of stunning swimming pools and a Greg Norman designed golf course. There are spectacular views from the resort of the famous Tanalot Sea Temple and nearby bars are the perfect place to enjoy a beer while watching the sunset into the Indian Ocean.
There are lots of great fine dining restaurants, most not too far in Seminyak, as well as cheap and cheerful ones, we have included 3 dinners in our itinerary. And what would a trip to Bali be without shopping? There are shops and a large open air market situated at the Resort's entrance, so no need to go any further, but if you want to venture out the Resort has a free shuttle to Ubud and Kuta.
The golf course is one of the best in Asia, we play in carts with our own female caddies, hit over rice paddies, play holes along cliffs over looking the Indian Ocean and the signature 7th hole Par 3, one of the most dramatic in world golf, requires a tee shot over the ocean!
We have been to Bali and this great resort many times and we keep going back as the friendly staff always make us feel very welcome. Hope you will join us for a week of luxury, indulgence and golf, or not, make new friends and do what women do when they get together - laugh!

ACTIVE ADVENTURES
Adrenaline is the only thing you'll need to pack for these trips. As you'd expect, activity is key. But we're not jumping off cliffs or paragliding - hey, that's entirely your choice. You will, however, be exploring new worlds by bike, kayak and foot. Active trips are the ideal way to travel if you want plenty of cultural interaction. Being super fit isn't a pre-requisite. Active trips combine energy-packed travel (like a challenging day's hike) with real world experiences (like spending a night in a traditional hilltribe village).
